Clay Camp is Rivertown Pottery Studio’s first-ever Pottery Intensive for Teens. Spread out over six sessions in two weeks, teens ages 13-18 will have the opportunity to work closely with skilled instructors and build their foundational skills in Hand Building, Throwing on a Pottery Wheel, and Glazing.

Cost of $200 includes all supplies and materials, plus firing their pieces in our electric kiln.

Teens will also learn about the various stages of clay, different clay bodies, studio safety considerations, and more, plus be able to follow templates to build standard pieces such as mugs and pitchers, use forms and molds to create bowls, and design and execute their own ideas, whether those be dinnerware pieces or sculpted pieces.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required upon registration. The remaining $150 is due on the first day of camp and can be paid using cash, check, or credit/debit card.
